《遊戲的基礎：摺紙的失效模擬》

這件作品是一張攤開的摺紙、一幅對折的繪畫，也是一座帶有窺視孔的立式屏風。這些形式曾是我們模擬現實、理解世界的工具。我將三者融合、過渡，使原有的語境在複合中失效了。摺紙不再指向完成的形象，繪畫不再構成視覺的幻象，屏風也不再提供隱蔽與隔離；它們反映出，在對新奇、強烈與誇張偏好的驅使下，我們已不再關注它們所模擬的是什麼具體現實。

從模擬客觀現實，轉變為以參與與體驗為核心的個人現實。摺紙遊戲的「玩法（遊戲性）變化」折射出我們認識世界方式的質變。我們的感知在多重的疊加與干擾中，轉向一種新的理解模式。

所有遊戲都潛藏著對規則與挑戰的提問：我們為什麼願意接受這些設定？又為什麼它們能帶來快樂？本系列作將遊戲視為橫跨時空的人類互動與思維的痕跡，並試圖從純粹「感到好玩」的瞬間，探問其中所蘊含的社會投射與個人意義。

Bases of Games — A Failed Simulation of Origami

This work is an unfolded origami game, a folded painting, and a standing screen with peepholes. These forms once served as tools for simulating reality and understanding the world. In this piece, I merge and transition between the three, allowing their original contexts to collapse in the process. Origami no longer aims for a finished form, painting no longer constructs visual illusion, and the screen no longer offers concealment or separation. Under the contemporary appetite for the novel, the intense, and the exaggerated, these forms seem to forgo any concern for faithfully simulating a fixed reality.

As origami shifts from simulating objective reality to emphasizing participation and sensory engagement, its transformation reflects a deeper shift in how we perceive and make sense of the world. Our perception, increasingly shaped by layered and disrupted inputs, is moving toward a more fluid and open mode of understanding.

All games carry within them a set of implicit questions: Why do we accept their rules and challenges? And why do they bring us joy? I see play as a trace of human interaction and thought across time and space. Through this work, I explore what the moment of “fun” reveals—not only as personal experience, but also as a projection of social meaning.

對我來說，「感到好玩」是一種極為私人的感受。它不只是輕鬆或愉悅，而是一種觸及本質的狀態——當我覺得好玩，我彷彿更接近真正的自己。

我創作這系列作品，為了探索「感到好玩」的心態。在這些歷久不衰的遊戲上，我用作品表達它們令人感到樂趣的遊戲基礎。當某個遊戲的有趣，成為了人們集體的共識與共鳴，它即象徵了某個時空上我們的共同記憶、與心理。作品以放大的方式，將某種遊戲的玩法邏輯強烈地表現出來。每一種遊戲中的規則與空間，都是思維以理想至上的方式，集結而成的虛構具象。巨大化的感官，呼應了我們對於「感到有趣」的強烈驅使。作品觸發我們重溫在遊戲中感受到的愉悅與心流狀態。

Bases of Games Artist Statement

For me, the feeling of “playfulness” is deeply personal. It is not merely about ease or pleasure, but a state that touches the essence of being—when I find something truly fun, I feel closer to my true self.

I created this series to explore the mindset of “feeling playful.” Through these timeless games, I express in my work the fundamental elements that make them enjoyable. When the fun of a game becomes a shared resonance among people, it symbolizes a collective memory and shared psychology within a particular time and space. Each work amplifies the logic of play within a specific game, vividly highlighting its mechanisms. The rules and spaces of each game are fictional constructs, formed by an idealized gathering of thought. By enlarging these sensory experiences, the works echo our intense inner drive toward the feeling of fun. They trigger memories of the delight and flow state once felt in play.
